Metro Eye Welcomes… Dr. Kaelyn Zaporski

Dr. Kaelyn Zaporski, Metro Eye OptometristNow accepting new patients!

Dr. Amy and the Metro Eye family are pleased to announce that we have added Dr. Kaelyn Zaporski to our team as a licensed Optometrist.

Dr. Zaporski graduated in 2005 from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a degree in Human Biology and a minor in Business Administration. Dr. Zaporski continued her studies in Optometry and earned her degree in 2009 from the University of Missouri -St. Louis College of Optometry.

Dr. Zaporski strives to build relationships with her patients so that she can educate them on relevant topics concerning their eyes and health. She feels that the eyes are amazing structures that not only need to be examined for proper vision, but can also reflect many different health issues. Dr. Zaporski believes that communicating with her patients one-on-one encourages them to be proactive in addressing their ocular health needs, helps build their confidence and trust in their doctor/patient relationship, and gives patients a positive examination experience. Dr. Zaporski encourages patients to ask questions and be seen for regular yearly eye examinations.

Dr. Zaporski has already taken an active role in educating the patients at Metro Eye. She contributes monthly blogs to our newsletter, website, and facebook page on eye health issues and various topics on questions about your vision. Even more noteworthy, a recent blog that Dr. Zaporski wrote on protecting your eyes from computer vision syndrome was published in Milwaukee’s Biz Times Magazine.

Dr. Zaporski enjoys a healthy active lifestyle and played NCAA Division 1 volleyball for four years at UW-Green Bay. She is married to Aaron, who also works in the Historic Third Ward. Dr. Zaporski is an active member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Zaporski is currently accepting new patients. To schedule an eye examination, call the office at 414.727.5888, contact us, or submit an appointment request.
